Poppleton railway station serves the village of Upper Poppleton in the City of York unitary authority area and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is located on the Harrogate Line 3 miles (5 km) west of York and is operated by Northern Rail who provide all passenger train services.

Services

Generally there is an hourly service from Poppleton to York eastbound and Leeds via Harrogate westbound. Services travelling from Leeds to Poppleton continue on to York. However, they are announced as terminating here so that people wanting to travel from Leeds to York use the faster York & Selby Lines route via Garforth.
